Electrical Systems, Grounding and Bonding, and Testing Electrical Systems

Expand your electrical knowledge and earn 6 CE credits, all in one day! This 3-class series provides you with the fundamentals you need to inspect electrical systems safely and accurately.

Electrical Systems: Solving the Mystery

This class provides a review of basic electrical concepts and terminology. Learners will also review the importance of grounding and bonding, as well as the equipment they will need to do both.

Grounding and Bonding Explained

Dive deeper into grounding and bonding by looking at neutral, grounding electrode, and equipment grounding/bonding conductors. Refresh your understanding of electrical vocabulary and uncover how improper installations can lead to hazardous conditions for inspectors.

Testing Electrical Systems for Home Inspectors

Find out what your role is during an electrical inspection, then identify the benefits of taking different types of measurements. Go over how, when, and where to use various testing devices. Learn how to take and interpret measurements with these devices.

Classes are 2 hours each and are ASHI and TN state-approved for CE Credit. This means that a full day of all 3 classes will reward you with a total of 6 CE credits.
